The first test to do : can you use your came with Quicktime X ? Indeed, Millumin uses the same functions, so if the camera is recognized by Quicktime X, it will be in Millumin (inside the folder "Inputs" in the library).
If the camera is not recognized by Quicktime X, neither by Millumin : this could be a problem of drivers that are old fashioned and cannot run in 64-bits mode.
However, there is a solution. You can download and use this mini-application here. It will run in 32-bits mode, recognize your camera, and output to a Syphon server, so you could get the image directly in Millumin (inside the folder "Inputs" in the library).
For info, Millumin V1 is using cameras in 32-bits mode, so your camera may still work with it, despite manufacturer should update its drivers to make them work also in 64-bits (Millumin V2/V3 being 64-bits only).
